Getting your period while living in a planting camp can be inconvenient, stressful, and unsafe if not handled properly. However, there are many ways to make getting your period during planting easy, comfortable, and sanitary.

Information for this article was gathered as a joint effort by members of the facebook group Radical Silviculture to normalize the experience of menstruation during a planting season and make the information more available. Radical Silviculture is dedicated to policy and social reform, upholding equity for systematically marginalized folks and advocating for human and worker rights within the silviculture sector.
