he/him/his

My name is Zap and this will be my 30th season Treeplanting! I have followed a few post secondary degrees and travelled throughout Central and South America to engage with new cultures and advance my scuba diving adventures. I have two kids who are everything in the world to me!

About

Zap

In 30 years of planting I have met and appreciated such a varied and diverse group of people who inspire me every year. I have gained many of my best friends and relationships through this career path. Planting always challenges me and keeps me "young and enthusiastic" about our industry!

Members of the Cache project team are grateful to live, work, and be in relationship with people from across many traditional and unceded territories, covering all parts of the land known as British Columbia, Canada. We thoughtfully offer this acknowledgement recognizing that reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples' is a commitment we all share as Canadians. We are grateful to live on this land and are committed to reconciliation, decolonization, and building relationships in our communities and workplaces. Land acknowledgements are one small step towards reconciling the relationships between settlers and Indigenous Peoples, in Canada. Colonialism is a current and ongoing process. Being mindful of our participation is another step on the path of healing.
