This is a piece I wrote after making the decision not to go back out for my ninth season. It explores navigating change during big life transitions.

i am watching from afar as the season starts and friends reunite i am feeling a sense of loss and nostalgia i am letting go of an old version of myself i know i'm doing the right thing by listening to my gut but change is hard transitions are hard i am trusting myself and listening to my inner voice as i begin a new chapter in this trust i find solace
